Fade Masters is Canada’s first reality TV competition series dedicated to the art and craft of barbering.
Set in Vancouver, BC, Fade Masters brings together eight of the province’s top barbers to compete for a prestigious trophy. The series is hosted by rising stand-up comedian Niki Mohrdar and Cody Usak, a seasoned professional from the film industry’s hair department. Each episode features a guest judge who joins Cody in designing challenges and judging the contestants.
While each episode of Fade Masters centres around a battle between two barbers, the series also dives into the personal stories of each contestant through mini-documentaries. Select episodes feature special segments exploring the barbering industry and culture – such as the evolution of men’s hairstyles and the making of hair products.
